The establishment of Responsible Business Vietnam Ltd. (RBV) comes at a time when Vietnamese enterprises are deeply integrated into global supply chains. With the rapid advancement of information and communication technologies, consumers, investors, and governments are increasingly concerned not only about product quality but also about how those products are made.
In this context, Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) has evolved beyond the scope of simple philanthropy to become a strategic and essential factor for business survival. Effective CSR practices not only help enterprises meet the supply chain due diligence requirements of demanding markets such as Europe and North America but also serve as a “passport” for brands — building customer trust and strengthening their reputation on the global stage.
At the national level, the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 843/QĐ-TTg, which promulgates the National Action Plan on Responsible Business Practices for the period 2023–2027, marks Vietnam’s strong commitment to fostering a sustainable business environment. This is not merely a policy direction but a concrete roadmap that establishes a legal framework and encourages enterprises to integrate labor and environmental standards into their core operations.
At the same time, in the global marketplace, major trading partners such as the European Union (EU), the United States, and many other countries are tightening regulations on supply chain due diligence. New laws require companies to take responsibility for the social and environmental impacts across their entire supply chains. Compliance is no longer a way to “gain points” — it has become a prerequisite for suppliers in Vietnam to access and maintain their position in key export markets.
In response to these dual demands, RBV Ltd. was established as an essential bridge. Building on 15 years of experience, expertise, and proven methodologies from the Better Work Vietnam Programme, we offer a comprehensive solution that enables Vietnamese enterprises to meet national action plan objectives while complying with stringent international due diligence requirements. The most valuable asset of The Responsible Business Vietnam Company is our staff. Our team is led by founders with many years of experience and deep understanding of supply chains in Vietnam, who were core members of the Better Work Vietnam program.
We take pride in inheriting and retaining most of our expert team who have extensive professional experience working with the ILO/IFC Better Work Vietnam Program, various United Nations organizations in Vietnam, as well as the private sector. Our seasoned Enterprise Advisors, Assessors, and Trainers continue to accompany and support enterprises. This ensures continuity and consistency in service quality, along with a deep understanding of each factory’s unique context—an advantage unmatched by any other organization.

Mr. Tien Nguyen Dung
Mr. Tien Nguyen D. is the founder of RBV Vietnam Co., Ltd. With a unique background that combines policy-making experience in government agencies, implementation of international projects, and in-depth research, Mr. Tien brings a comprehensive and strategic vision to the field of labor and sustainable supply chain development in Vietnam.
More Information
Before founding the company, Mr. Tiến served as the Core Services Team Leader at the Better Work Vietnam program, where he directly led the technical staff in advising and improving working conditions for hundreds of factories across the supply chain. He was also a member of the Factory Engagement Committee of the Global Better Work Program, where he contributed to developing standards for enterprise engagement activities and supported the implementation of enterprise assessments in other Better Work country programs, including Ethiopia, Pakistan, and Uzbekistan.
Prior to that, he worked at the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs (MOLISA), where he gained extensive experience in labor law, international labor standards, and trade. He was also a member of the Vietnamese Government’s negotiation team for several major free trade agreements, including the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA).
Mr. Nguyễn Dũng Tiến holds a Master of Science in Globalization and Development from the University of Manchester, United Kingdom, where his research focused on labor law compliance in Vietnam’s garment industry. He also holds a Master’s degree in Labor Economics from a joint program between Sciences Po Paris (France) and the University of Turin (Italy), where he analyzed labor policies and the returns to education in the Vietnamese labor market. In addition, he has obtained numerous certifications from the ILO International Training Centre in Turin, covering international labor standards, labor inspection, and labor and employment policies, among others.
