2. Function of the Position

The Enterprise Assessment and Advisory Specialist is responsible for delivering independent enterprise assessments, technical advisory services, and improvement support to enterprises in areas related to Vietnamese labour law, international labour standards, workplace dialogue, management capacity, and other responsible business practices.

The work of this position has a direct impact on enterprise performance, compliance capacity, as well as enterprises’ competitiveness and market access within global supply chains.

3. Reporting Lines

The Enterprise Advisor reports directly to the RBV Team Leader.

During the implementation of assignments, the specialist will receive technical and procedural guidance as required and is expected to work independently, proactively, and flexibly in applying RBV tools and methodologies at the enterprise level. Work outputs will be reviewed to ensure technical accuracy, objectivity, and appropriateness.

4. Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Conduct independent enterprise assessments on compliance with Vietnamese labour law, international labour standards, and other relevant requirements;
  • Prepare and finalize assessment and advisory reports, including key findings, root cause analysis, recommendations for improvement, and enterprise improvement plans;
  • Participate in peer review of other specialists’ reports to ensure quality and consistency;
  • Provide enterprise-level advisory and technical support services, including:
    • Guidance on the development and implementation of enterprise improvement plans;
    • Facilitation of workplace dialogue between employers and worker representatives to support improvement actions;
    • Advisory support on human resource management systems and standards compliance;
  • Design, adapt, and deliver training and capacity-building activities tailored to the specific needs of enterprises;
  • Provide technical inputs to the development of RBV tools, materials, and technical research;Đóng góp ý kiến chuyên môn cho việc phát triển công cụ, tài liệu, nghiên cứu chuyên môn của RBV;
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management.

5. Qualifications and Requirements

Education:

  • University degree or higher in foreign trade, international relations, economics, human resource management, law, international development, social sciences, adult education, or related fields; or equivalent professional experience.

Experience:

  • At least two (02) years of relevant professional experience in one or more of the following areas:Tối thiểu 02 năm kinh nghiệm chuyên môn trong một hoặc nhiều lĩnh vực:
    • Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) assessment and advisory;
    • Labour standards compliance;
    • Enterprise training and capacity building;
    • Industrial relations and workplace dialogue;
    • Enterprise development advisory services.

Languages:

  • Vietnamese as a first language;
  • Proficient command of English, both written and spoken.

Competencies and Skills:

  • Strong communication and report-writing skills;
  • Good analytical and information synthesis skills;
  • Solid knowledge of Vietnamese labour law and international labour standards;
  • Group facilitation skills, including dialogue facilitation and conflict resolution;
  • Understanding of enterprise-level human resource management, production, and quality systems;
  • Good understanding of CSR issues, labour standards, and global supply chains;
  • Ability to design, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of training and capacity-building activities;
  • Strong awareness of gender equality and equal opportunity principles;
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, as well as collaboratively within a team;
  • Ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders in a multicultural environment.
